KT Tunstall makes a most welcome return today with the release of her totally addictive EP Golden State, on Caroline Records. (http://smarturl.it/KTGoldenState). Produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Fitz and The Tantrums), written by KT, and recorded in Los Angeles where she now lives, the 3 tracks exemplify the very best of guitar pop.

Golden State features "Evil Eye", "All Or Nothing" and "The Healer", with an extra slamming remix of "Evil Eye" by critically acclaimed UK band Django Django. Old and new fans alike are guaranteed to sit up and take notice of this fresh sounding blast of rhythmic bliss. This four track EP will be available across digital stores and streaming services. Barnes and Noble (http://smarturl.it/KTGoldenState_BN) will be the exclusive retailer to carry a CD version of the EP, which will include the aforementioned four tracks, plus an exclusive track entitled "Bad Dream".

"This is an album all about joy, although some of these songs are like cats," says KT gleefully, "they're really furry and sweet and then they fin' scratch you, and they won't let you put a leash on them, ever."

KT and her band are currently on the road throughout the summer, playing various festivals and theatres with a full US & UK tour to come.

Scotland born and Los Angeles based, KT Tunstall emerged with her 2004 classic debut Eye To The Telescope spawning such international hits as "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree"and "Suddenly I See", which won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song in 2006. That same year she won her first BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist, and earned Grammy and Mercury Prize nominations in 2007.

KT has released five albums internationally, to date: Eye to the Telescope (2004), KT Tunstall's Acoustic Extravaganza (2006), Drastic Fantastic (2007, Tiger Suit (2010) and Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon (2013). Her music has also figured prominently in film and television including The Devil Wears Prada, Grey's Anatomy, Winter's Tale and many more.

A new album will be released September 2016.
