Judah & the Lion is announcing their first ever US headlining tour following the news of the September 9th release of their debut album Kids These Days on Good Time Records. The US trek will kick off on October 1st in Ashville, NC at New Earth Music Hall and have the boys playing 200-400 capacity rooms with stops in several major cities along the way including Atlanta, GA/Masquerade on October 4th, New York City/The Studio at Webster Hall on October 8th, Denver, CO/Larimer Lounge on November 8th, Minneapolis, MN/7th Street Entry on November 13th and Chicago, IL/Schubas on November 15th. The nearly two month long trek will have the boys out until the week before Thanksgiving.

While the members of the Nashville based trio - Judah Akers, Brian Macdonald and Nate Zuercher - are relatively young, they are no strangers to the road. This past winter the band went out as main support forAndrew Ripp on his first headlining tour and in the spring they joined up with Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors for a couple weeks of US dates. In addition, they've played a number of Southeastern headlining shows, mainly in Tennessee and Georgia where they sold out notable venues such as Nashville's Mercy Lounge and Athens, GA's 40 Watt Club.

News of the headlining tour comes as the boys gear up for the September 9th release of Kids These Days. Recorded in Nashville this past March with the incredibly talented Dave Cobb (Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson) producing and Pete Lyman (Best Coast, Jason Isbell, Ben Harper) mastering, the album is 11 honest heartfelt songs that capture the passion and youthful spirit of the band who formed in 2011 after meeting at Belmont University via mutual friends. They released a pair of EPs - First Fruit in 2012 and Sweet Tennessee in April 2013 which landed on several Billboard album charts - No. 2 on the "Bluegrass," No. 9 on "Heatseekers" and No. 15 on "Folk."
