The Twin-Cities, Minnesota based national touring "RootsTronic" band Jon Wayne and The Pain (a.k.a. JWP) announce the release of their fourth highly evolved album, Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe, with a thirty-four date, eighteen state tour to follow.

The album and tour, will kick-off with an official album release party set to take place on January 21, 2017 at the famed First Avenue - Mainroom in Minneapolis. Support acts include Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident,West Coast Hip-Hop legend ZION I and local Hip-Hop group, Crunchy Kids. Tickets are available at First-Avenue.com.

The four-piece rockers, include Jon Weight; lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Weston Schick on Electronic Wind Instrument and Keys, Chuck T "Pappa" Torgerson on bass and Teeto Miller on drums. JWP are best known for innovating acoustic-electronic dub, heightened with conscious lyrics and intricate jams. Their 2013 released album, Surrender acts as a testimony of their highly evolved new album, Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe. The album introduces a new style of acoustic-electronic dub music by incorporating electronic wind instruments, acoustic guitar, with bass, dub-electro centric electrifying keys, heavy hitting drums and a splash of Hip-Hop with the track "Helpful" featuring Zion I.

The band, respected for their captivating live shows, delivers a jaw-dropping quartet with an impressive light show, executing massive bass sounds. The song "Thankful," along with a new music video will be the first record release from the new album and showcases their next level electronic-dub goods.

"This album is definitely a highly emerged sound for JWP. It's reflective of our past reggae-centric music, yet incorporates a high fusion of electronic and acoustic elements. I feel we're much more conscious about our lyrical expression, as we hope to be messengers of goodness with social commentaries that elevate the state of our environment and society. It's hands down our best and most developed album yet," says lead vocalist Jon Weight.

Over the last decade, the band has carved a sizable niche for themselves in the electronic and reggae-rock genres, by their coast-to coast road-warrior tours, performing more than one hundred and thirty lives shows per year. With a fresh and current sound, the band has gained the respect of industry executives and fellow musicians, across many genres and have recently performed with Nahko, Trevor Hall, Cas Haley, Wookiefoot and Keller Williams. The band has also performed at California Roots Festival, Electric Forest, Shangri-La, Summer Camp and Wakarusa to name a few.

Tickets are $15 and are available at First-Avenue.com. The collection of older albums, along with Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe and new merch will be available for purchase at the merch booth.
