Custard/Atlantic recording artist James Blunt is set to kick off the North American leg of his worldwide "Some Kind of Trouble Tour." The trek -- which celebrates the recent release of his 3rd album, "SOME KIND OF TROUBLE" -- begins April 20th at Boston's House of Blues and then continues through early May (see below itinerary). Supporting the British-based singer/songwriter on all dates will be his Atlantic Records labelmate, Christina Perri.

Blunt has also slated a number of high profile TV appearances surrounding the tour. The five-time Grammy-nominated troubadour will kick off the schedule with a Friday, April 22nd visit to the nationally syndicated LIVE! With Regis and Kelly, followed on Monday, May 2nd, by a performance on TBS' Conan. James will also be returning to perform on ABC's blockbuster Dancing With The Stars on May 3rd.

"SOME KIND OF TROUBLE" -- which includes the international smash, "Stay The Night," as well as the new single, "I'll Be Your Man" -- has proven a true global sensation, with worldwide sales now exceeding 1.3 million. "Stay the Night," written by Blunt with Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and award-winning songwriter/producer Steve Robson (Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Take That), was Blunt's 2nd highest radio airplay single behind "You're Beautiful" and a top 10 favorite in a range of countries, including Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Australia, where it also received platinum certification.

A truly gifted live performer, Blunt recently wrapped the first leg of his "Some Kind of Trouble Tour" after performing to nearly a quarter million fans across Europe and his native United Kingdom. Upon concluding the North American itinerary, Blunt and his band will head to Australia for a much-anticipated series of dates. In June, he'll hit the road for a second round of UK and European concerts, including both headline shows and festival appearances. As if that weren't enough, the "Some Kind of Trouble Tour" is also slated for summer stops in Lebanon and South Africa.

"SOME KIND OF TROUBLE" finds Blunt in a delightfully upbeat frame of mind, capturing the talented tunesmith's newfound sense of spontaneity and excitement. Produced by Robson (with additional production from The Bird & the Bee's Greg Kurstin, and Eg White), the album -- which follows 2007's acclaimed "ALL THE LOST SOULS" -- marks Blunt's most positive work to date, with songs alive with energy and optimism.

With global album sales now at a staggering 19 million, James Blunt is without question among the most gifted and successful singer/songwriters of his generation. He first captured the world's attention in 2005 with his 2x RIAA platinum-certified debut, "BACK TO BEDLAM," which featured the history-making #1 classic, "You're Beautiful." "ALL THE LOST SOULS" followed two years later, debuting atop the album charts in 10 countries and earning unanimous critical acclaim for such hits as "1973" and "Same Mistake."
