Jakob Campbell Drops 'Get Em' Single On 4/20 Inspired by the pressure to let his family, especially his mother, know that he "got her", Denver-based rapper, Jakob Campbell laid power lyrics over an explosive beat as a nod to his desire to help his family overcome the destructive forces of poverty, substance abuse, and violence.

Produced by Macho, the song is the first single from Campbell since he'd been introduced to us in 2016 by his very first official release, "Never Change". The evolution of his sound is considerable and culminates as a lyrically therapeutic homage to classic hip-hop.

"It was explosive and we immediately gravitated to it," an internal source said about Macho's beat. "We got right to it, booked a studio session in late 2017 at Side 3 Studios and the magic happened that night. Jakob hit the booth and electrified everyone in the room with his aggressive approach on the track and [because his energy matched] the already huge instrumentation, the track delivered."

"Get Em" is now available to stream and download on all major streaming platforms.
