House of Vans Announces Return of SESSIONS Music Showcase, Free Skate and Live Art Series in Chicago
2019 will be the third official year of House of Vans marquee series, SESSIONS, designed to enable emerging creative talent in the Chicago community. The winter, bi-weekly events, running January through April, will include open skate, emerging musician showcases, and live murals at House of Vans Chicago location at 113 N. Elizabeth St. There will be nine House of Vans SESSIONS held on 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/27, and 4/3. All RSVP's are now open at www.houseofvans.com.

Aspiring SESSIONS performers of all genres can submit music to be selected to play one of the nine events via email: email@example.com. In addition, each House of Vans SESSIONS event will feature a different live muralist that will be commissioned to paint one panel of a larger art installation. Local, Chicago based visual artists include Blake Jones, Erik Lundquist, Caroline Liu,Anthony Lewellen, Mr. Switch, Mosher, Shelby Rodeffer, Adam Lundquist andJoe DeLuca. Each of the artists completed work will be displayed to make an installation that will be on-display at the final SESSIONS event on 4/3.
