Chicago's Hidden Hospitals reveal today a video for "Better Off", the first single from their forthcoming record LIARS. The band's 4th release, out Fall 2017 on their own label, MSTATEMENT, oscillates around minimalist modern rock and cult electronica-Deftones meets Radiohead's Kid A with a splash of Mutemath. A study of dark versus light, with lyrics balancing everyday dualities from the first line... "I lost my fingers when I found my fists" ...to the last breath.

Their newest album, LIARS, is the manifestation of a singular place, point in time, and frame of mind. It churns heavy with kinetic energy and precise movements. And while it is the band's fourth release, singer Dave Raymond feels as though they've hit reset, focusing on the future without forgetting the past: "Close everything else, this is page one." More news of the full-length coming soon.

The band has honed their live show over many years on the road, sharing stages with The Used, Hot Rod Circuit, Cartel and Blindside among others. Their 2nd EP spent 6 weeks in Top 10 CMJ Rock Charts and the video for title track "The Absence of Emotion" has racked up more than 60k views.
