Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor Kick Off '2013 Ultimate Louisiana Party II' Tour Today

Hit City Digital Records has announced Henry Turner, Jr. & Flavor's 2013 Ultimate Louisiana Party II tour dates from June to September. The band will once again go on their annual circuit of Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington, performing in clubs, at festivals and hosting some Ultimate Louisiana Parties that feature local musicians, jam sessions and themed "Taste of Louisiana' buffets.

Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor's musical odyssey began in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Creating a "gumbo" of distinctive syncopated and hypnotic music that incorporates reggae, soul, funk and blues. The Hit City Digital recording artists have released eight CD's and over fourteen singles. Some of their better known hits include "2 Many Women," "Ugly Man" and "Love Me or Leave Me." This year the band will debut two new singles. The touching soul song "Let Me See the Old Folks, 1 Mo Time" and the reggae soul dance tune "Smile on Her Face." The band is well known for their tongue in cheek lyrics, upbeat dance numbers and touching ballads. Additionally, Turner is releasing a solo project entitled "Love Songs & Heartaches." The first single, "U are My Everything," features Laura Peralta Jones, who will join the band for several dates in the Los Angeles area.

The band is Henry Turner, Jr. on vocals and guitar, with veteran R&B drummer and vocalist Ronnie Houston, Irie Hip on piano and new to the tour this year is bass player Isaac Jones. Background vocalists Jenessa Nelson and Yolanda Sigger will join the band at select stops. Acoustic solo performer, JohnnyMidnite, will open for the band at key venues with guest soloists, additional background singers and musicians being featured along the way.
