Gary Clark Jr. Hosts Listening Party to Celebrate Release of New Album BLAK AND BLU, 10/22

Rock 'n' soul phenomenon Gary Clark Jr. will celebrate today's October 22nd release of his new album Blak And Blu with a listening party in Los Angeles at Merry Karnowsky Gallery at 6:30pm. This VIP event is presented by high-end audio company Bowers & Wilkins as part of its exclusive Sound Sessions music series.

The invite-only Bowers & Wilkins Sound Sessions are designed to engage with audiences directly by offering fans access to VIP-only, listening events with their favorite artists while experiencing the music through Bowers & Wilkins' portfolio of best-in-class speakers, including the 802 Diamond, Zeppelin Air, and mobile HiFi headphones.

Blak And Bluwill be played in its entirety as guests are treated to food and drinks. Clark will be present once he completes the taping of his appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, which airs later that evening.

With an unpredictable and musically diverse live set that varies based on Clark's mood and the vibe he gets from the audience on any given night, the Austin native has received tremendous critical praise, with The New York Times opining that he "may be the next Hendrix."
