Fifth Harmony will perform an exclusive concert in St. Paul for Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys to reward the efforts of tens of thousands of local girls who collected food to stock food shelves. The goal of the "Feed the Need" service project is to educate girls that hunger exists in every community in Minnesota and show them how they can make a difference.

"At Girl Scouts, we strive to build girls of courage, confidence, and character while having a lot of fun," said Linda Keene, CEO of Girl Scouts River Valleys. "We are so excited to welcome Fifth Harmony into our celebration of community service and sisterhood. This concert will be a memory the girls keep with them forever."

Hugely popular with girls and tweens, the bilingual quintet started as individual performers on X Factor in 2012 before creating the rising pop powerhouse Fifth Harmony. The five singers have two songs on Twin Cities radio stations. "Me & My Girls" and "Miss Movin' On" are quickly becoming anthems for young girls about the power of friendship and girl empowerment.

In the six weeks leading up to the June 14 concert, girls from the 49-county council area will collect food donations to benefit their local communities while learning about hunger awareness, nutrition, and healthy living. This is the second year for "Feed the Need"; in spring 2013, the efforts of River Valleys' Girl Scouts resulted in 22,000 pounds of food donated to local food shelves.

The only way to attend the exclusive concert is to be a Girl Scouts River Valleys member. Ticket sales will begin in 2014. Learn more about the concert and how Girl Scouts helps girls reach their full potential at GirlScoutsRV.org.
