Live From UI Sound Studios is a monthly series of live-recorded, studio concerts featuring the best musicians and bands the Front Range (and abroad) has to offer. In this boutique performance artists give fans an intimate listening experience. Tonight, June 1st, the series welcomes FaceMan and Eye & the Arrow. Doors open at 7:30pm.

FaceMan: the artist behind the mask. What causes the front man of a Rock and Roll outfit to perform in anonymity? Lead singers want to soak in the spotlight and bask in adoration, right? A few theories: Faceman is 1/the target of revenge, 2/hiding the fact that he isn’t dead, 3/an anonymous avenger.

FaceMan has given countless high-profile performances including the epic concert, First Waltz, at the Bluebird Theater. The band’s unique songwriting and great recording performances continue to attract the attention of legendary horn sections the Dirty Dozen and Rebirth Brass Bands. Opening the show is the up-and-coming Pop-Punk, power-trio, Eye & the Arrow.

UI Sound Studios is located at 2401 Broadway, Boulder, Colo. For more information, visit www.uisound.com or call 303 929-1679.
