Growing up in Compton, California, Kendrick Lamar was surrounded by an eclectic range of music. Lending his ear to the R&B masters such as Isley Brothers as well as hip hop legends like Tha Dogg Pound, which helped prepare him for the opportunities that would arise for him in the music industry. At age 16 Kendrick released his first mixtape Y.H.N.I.C, creating a buzz in his hometown and garnering the attention of TopDawg Entertainment's CEO. From then on, Kendrick worked to perfect his skill under TopDawg, releasing albums including Compton State of Mind, Section.80, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City and his most recent project Overly Dedicated. Through these efforts Kendrick was able to showcase to the world his unparalleled ability and humorous word play.

The story of Grammy-nominated international R&B superstar, Trey Songz is the classic saga of taking a dream and making the impossible possible. With each chapter, Songz has held onto the best parts of what he offered previously while continuously raising the bar and creating original and ground-breaking, yet classic, R&B music. Songz latest album, CHAPTER V is the follow-up to the Petersburg, VA-bred singer's 2010 RIAA Gold-Certified album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure, which featured the chart-topping, multi-platinum hits "Bottoms Up (feat. Nicki Minaj)" and "Can't Be Friends."

With J Cole's first album Cole World: The Sideline Story, the Fayetteville, North Carolina MC solidified his position as a bonafide rap star touring the world with hit records and then earning himself a nomination at the 54th Grammy Awards. His sophomore LP Born Sinner is scheduled for a June 25 release on Roc Nation/Sony. Jermaine Cole got his start in 2009 when he signed to JAY Z's Roc Nation then dropped his The Warm Up (2009) and Friday Night Lights (2010) mixtapes, which paved the way for his major label debut. Not only has Cole crafted underground favorites with Wale ("Beautiful Bliss"), Reflection Eternal ("Just Begun") and French Montana ("Diamonds") he has been called on by music's biggest stars JAY Z ("A Star is Born"), Beyoncé ("Party" remix) and Kanye West ("Looking for Trouble").

Sean Anderson, a.k.a Big Sean, was born in Santa Monica, California and relocated to the west side of Detroit, Michigan when he was 2 months old. Sean attended the Detroit Waldorf School from kindergarten to eighth grade and later attended Cass Technical High School where he furthered his music career. In 2007 Kanye West signed Big Sean to G.O.O.D. Music and then to Island Def Jam in 2008. His albums Finally Famous, Detroit and Hall of Fame earned him multiple awards and nominations including a BET Award for "Best New Artist" in 2012.
