The concert's live stream will feature introductions from Peace One Day's ambassadors Jude Law and Lily Cole. This is the first time the event has been streamed live, according to founder Jeremy Gilley.

"When Jeremy and Jude came to see me and told me about Peace One Day and the Global Truce 2012 campaign I had to get involved and support them," John told THR.

According to Peace One Day's website, over the last 10 years, Peace Day has been proved as an opportunity for life-saving activities and action by individuals worldwide. For Peace Day 2012, Peace One Day is calling for and working towards a day of ceasefire and non-violence—the Global Truce 2012 campaign.
