Actor/DJ host Edvin Ortega will be performing for the City Parks Foundation, Summer Stage Kids at Alfred E. Smith Park in Manhattan. This is a free hour show starting Thursday, August 7 at 10:30am.

Summer Stage Kids 2014 is a free, family, fun filled event in New York City. City Parks Foundation has revealed summer programs on their website. Summer Stage Kids Events celebrate a day dedicated to engaging young audiences and their families through thrilling performances.

Recently, Ortega performed for Summer Stage Kids at Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. Families were enjoying their Tuesday morning dancing and watching Edvin Ortega DJ.

Ortega was born in Havana, Cuba, where he spent his early childhood years before his family moved to Panama City, Panama. A few years later, his family packed up again and headed for America, settling in Yonkers, NY, where he would spend his formative years and eventually graduate from Westchester Community College and Mercy College. An accomplished host, d.j., singer and dancer, Ortega regularly hosts live events for Radio Disney and is know is those circles as "MC Vin."
