Drowning Pool Announce First Leg of Summer Tour

Hot off the release of their fifth studio album Resilience, out now on Eleven Seven Music, Drowning Pool announce their summer headlining US tour titled the Resilience Tour with special guests Eye Empire. Armed with new singer Jasen Moreno, Drowning Pool is at their most focused, fiery, and fierce. With two singles off the album already charting at active rock radio, the band continues to persevere through it all, fists in the air. Before the band arrives stateside, they have partnered with USO to play a series of dates in Europe supporting US troops abroad.

"Feel Like I Do," the lead single from their self-titled fourth studio release [Eleven Seven Music], became the band's biggest radio hit to date, reaching No. 2 at Active Rock Radio, and remaining in the Top 5 for 12-weeks. With 2009's "37 Stitches" off of Full Circle reaching #4 at Active Rock and "Feel Like I Do," the band had 2 consecutive Top 5 Active Rock smashes and cemented their place as one of the top hard rock acts today. Eye Empire has established a connection with audiences across the U.S. via 500 plus appearances over the past few years. Currently, the band's single "More Than Fate" is charted at Active Rock radio. Singer Donald Carpenter offers, "I am deeply connected to this story. You truly have to live by your heart and trust that life will lead you in the direction you are needed. I believed and it led me to Eye Empire. I will never take that for granted." After three variations of a debut titled Moment Of Impact, Eye Empire packaged all of the band's recorded work on to a 2-CD set titled IMPACT, and released to physical stores June 19, 2012. Alongside 19 studio recordings, three acoustic performances and two live cuts round out the release.
