Downton Abbey: The Exhibition Announces Contest to Win Trip to DOWNTON ABBEY Film Set

Downton Abbey: The Exhibition and Viking, the leader in river and small ship ocean cruising, have partnered to present fans of the award-winning global television phenomenon a chance to visit the DOWNTON ABBEY movie set in London. The CONTEST begins August 9th, 2018 and ends Sept 4th, 2018. Exhibition visitors can enter by posting a photo of themselves on Instagram or twitter, while at or outside Downton Abbey: The Exhibition in New York City, with the hashtag #DowntonVikingSweepstakes. Fans can also sign up via Facebook by replying to a special sweepstake post with their photo. The winning contestant will enjoy a prize trip to include two business class tickets to London, four star hotel accommodation for four nights and a behind-the-scenes visit to the film set this fall.

Downton Abbey: The Exhibition provides a fascinating look at all aspects of the post-Edwardian period in which Carnival Films' popular TV series is set and offers an in-depth insight into the remarkable historic events which would go on to shape the world. From World War I to the Roaring Twenties, visitors have the chance to learn about British society, culture and fashion. The first-ever fully immersive experience set inside the world of the multi award-winning series, the exhibition connects fans with their favorite characters, costumes, locations and historic events of the era, and showcases never-before-seen footage.

Upon entering the exhibition, visitors are transported on an incredible journey through the grand home of DOWNTON ABBEY allowing them to peer into the world of the Crawleys and those that served them below stairs. From Mrs. Patmore's hectic kitchen and the gossip-fueled servants' quarters, to the family's glamorous dining room and Lady Mary's bedroom, fans have the opportunity to walk through some of the series' most recognizable and beloved sets. Visitors will even come up-close to over 50 of the show's official costumes worn by their favorite actors including Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and Dame Maggie Smith.

The exhibition is located at 218 W 57th Street (between Broadway and 7th Avenue), New York City and is open daily between 10am and 6:30pm, including holidays.
