Dorothy Extends Freedom Tour + Shares New Music Video

Los Angeles-based rock band Dorothy, who are currently supporting Greta Van Fleet on their sold out tour, have announced a new list of headlining performances for the ongoing Freedom Tour 2018, in support of the band's new album 28 Days in the Valley. Tickets are on sale now at http://dorothytheband.com/. VIP packages will also be offered including an intimate soundcheck, a photo/meet & greet, a signed poster, and more.

With already 35+ dates on the 2018 Freedom Tour completed, Dorothy is heading out to the often left out, yet still passionate rock 'n roll cities, such as Fresno, Pomona, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tulsa, Little Rock, and multiple cities in Texas. Dorothy can also be seen dominantly along the festival circuit, including sets at Summerfest, Arroyo Seco Weekend, Lollapalooza, Pain In The Grass, Aftershock, and more.

This spring, Dorothy released the full-length album 28 Days in the Valley, which is available worldwide and features the led single "Flawless". "Flawless" is climbing the Top 20 charts on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs.

Coinciding with the tour announcement, the band has shared a live version of the hit single, performed at Capitol Records. See the video here.

"Recording "Flawless" at Capitol Studios was definitely a moment we soon won't forget," shared frontwoman Dorothy Martin. "The energy of that room mixed with essence of the song lead to a truly powerful performance. It was an honor to record in such an iconic place."

28 Days in the Valley is one of those albums that's meant to be heard live. Seeing Dorothy perform "Flawless" live at Capitol, or catching them on the road, makes for one of the most genuine rock experiences available today. "We recorded the old-school way like the Stones did," explained Martin. "After writing, we did a good amount of pre-production and worked out the energy and vibe of the songs and then we went in and recorded live, usually in just a few takes. Nothing on this record is programmed. It's raw and real and honest."

ABOUT DOROTHY

Dorothy was built around Dorothy Martin, a singer who was born in Budapest but raised in San Diego. As a child, she started singing early and eventually made her way to Los Angeles. Rolling Stone named Dorothy one of the best 50 Best New Artists of 2014 and soon after, Jay-Z's RocNation signed Dorothy. Martin recently put together a new, high level, and powerful band including guitarist Owen Barry, guitarist Leroy Wulfmeier, bassist Eliot Lorango, and drummer Jason Ganberg. The band is managed by We Are Hear and represented by RocNation.
