Dennis & Lois Talk Ramones in New Documentary Trailer

They met at CBGB's in the 1970s, traversed the US and the UK with some of their favorite bands, and have now landed themselves at the center of a documentary. They are known simply as Dennis & Lois.

In a new trailer for the documentary, the couple details their close relationship with The Ramones, beginning at CBGB and a pizza parlor in Pittsburgh, leading to their appointment as official merch sellers for the band. The clip features Arturo Vega (Ramones graphic designer), Andy Rourke (The Smiths), and years worth of Ramones memorabilia and can be viewed today exclusively via The Big Takeover.

The superfan couple are the subjects of an upcoming documentary by filmmaker Chris Cassidy, who followed the superfan couple for over five years and interviewed many of the famous musicians who have come to love and depend on them. Marky Ramone, Frank Sidebottom, Peter Hook (Joy Division) and more can be seen singing the couple's praises via Vimeo now. Dennis and Lois were recently featured in the New York Times, where writer Corey Kilgannon paid a visit to their house-slash-rock'n'roll shrine. The documentary, titled Dennis & Lois, is currently in post-production and is being funded by fans viaKickstarter.
