DÉJÀ VU Grammy Consideration Event Set With Sarah Sharp in Austin
The Sarah Sharp Quintet will perform live at The Victorian inside Austin's Driskill hotel.
Spaceflight Records is set to host a GRAMMY Awards For Your Consideration event for Austin-based jazz singer and songwriter Sarah Sharp, spotlighting her debut album DEJÀ VU. The gathering will take place at The Victorian, located inside Austin's Driskill hotel, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the Sarah Sharp Quintet performing songs from the record from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Music industry professionals, Recording Academy members, and the general public are invited to attend.
The event, presented by Spaceflight Records, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at The Victorian, located in Austin's The Driskill hotel. 'Déjà Vu' was released on May 15 and marks the full-length debut LP under her own name. The new record showcases Sharp's striking vocals alongside richly crafted arrangements that span jazz, folk, and Americana, resulting in a sound unmistakably her own.

DEJÀ VU marks Sharp's full-length debut LP under her own name, blending jazz, folk, and Americana influences. The album has drawn praise from outlets including NPR's Upside of Jazz, No Depression, Jazz Life Japan, and Paris Move.
