CBS has ordered six pilots for its upcoming season, including reboots of "Cagney and Lacey" and "Magnum P.I." according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Cagney and Lacey" has been described as a reboot of the series about two female police detectives and friends in L.A. The original series in the 80s starred Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless.

"Magnum P.I." will be an updated version of the classic series, set in Hawaii, that follows Thomas Magnum, a decorated ex-Navy SEAL, who becomes a private investigator. The original series' star Tom Selleck is currently in Blue Bloods, also on CBS. While no connection to the reboot has been discussed, it is possible that a cameo could be in the works.

Among the new series is drama "Chiefs" which will revolve around three women who are chiefs of police in their respective precincts in L.A. County.

"Fam" is a comedy that follows a woman who has dreams of an upstanding life with her new fiance, but her trainwreck younger half-sister comes to live with them to escape their trainwreck father.

"Here Comes the Neighborhood" is another comedy that centers around the nicest guy in the Midwest who moves into a tough neighborhood in L.A. where he gets a bit of a rude awakening from his new neighbors.

Finally, "Pandas in New York" is about a family of Indian doctors with a group practice in New York who plan to arrange their son's life, unaware that he has his own plans.
