Bent Knee 3rd LP 'Say So' Out Today; Watch 'Leak Water' Live + National Tour

The day has arrived for Boston sextet Bent Knee, a band that's rapidly taking the world by storm. Following the release of their celebrated sophomore effort Shiny Eyed Babies, the band road-tested its engaging, mercurial new material at hundreds of shows before committing it to tape. The addictive, provocative end result is now available on their new album Say So, available NOW via Cuneiform Records.

Say So epitomizes Bent Knee's quest for adventurous songcraft and exhilarating arrangements full of spellbinding and unexpected moments. It's rock that bridges the familiar and nomadic with thrilling results.

In anticipation and celebration of its third release, the band recently shared live takes of "Hands Up" and "Leak Water", as well as an unplugged version of the latter, which pares the song down to its beautiful, bare essence. We encourage you to post and share!

Since its inception, Bent Knee has remained true to the incredible spectrum of its diverse musical personalities. Swain's riveting vocals lead the way through often dark lyrical themes, while guitar virtuoso Ben Levin shifts seamlessly from melodic riffs to extreme dissonance, often at a moment's notice. Bassist Jessica Kion and drummer Gavin Wallace-Ailsworth contribute deep grooves, full of unexpected accents and ornamentation that glue the boundary-pushing work together. Violinist Chris Baum soars atop and through the material, further expanding the group's sonic palette, and producer/sound designer Vince Welch combines it all with understated brilliance.

The band has performed hundreds of shows across the North America and Japan, including a recent showcase at Lincoln Center, and is about to embark on their 2016 North American and European tour.
