Bad Moves Share WISHING Video, Plus Tour Dates with Adult Mom, The Beths
This weekend, Washington, D.C.'s Bad Moves will climb back into the van for a handful of shows with Adult Mom, followed early next month by a quick trip up the East Coast with The Beths and Bad Hats.
Today, the band also shared a music video for their song "Wishing," which was directed by guitarist/singer David Combs.
David on "Wishing":
"The story behind the video is in 2015 I made a grim reaper costume for my then 2 year old housemate and took some footage for a different project that was never finished. Recently I found the footage and thought it might work well with "Wishing," a song about the way adults project their expectations onto babies. She's 5 now and when I asked her if I could use the footage, she said 'yeah, I don't need it anymore.'"
Bad Moves are Emma Cleveland, David Combs, Katie Park and Daoud Tyler-Ameen. Formed in 2015, the band has since toured the U.S. and U.K. alongside Jeff Rosenstock, Nana Grizol, The Spook School and Martha. The members also appeared as animated characters in a 2018 episode of the Cartoon Network series Craig of the Creek.
In September, the band released its full length debut, Tell No One, on Don Giovanni Records.
