The duo, which features soprano Aliana de la Guardia and saxophonist Kent O'Doherty, emerged from their mutual desire to further their personal artistic disciplines and to create an enveloping concert experience together. They were inspired to start the duo from the influence of the beautiful and audacious music and theatre that has been present in their lives as members of Guerilla Opera, and from their mutual love of other creative art forms. Their programs will deepen and extend the concert experience by engaging all the senses; visual, aural, and even smell and taste at times. Visit KOEK online for more information at www.koek.us.
