Austin's FlecHaus Release New Single 'Finding' 11/17

Austin, TX Roots-Folk group FlecHaus release their latest new single, "Finding" this Friday, November 17. Purchase "Finding" at ITunes or CD Baby. Finding "is about those times when you aren't sure if you're walking in the right direction, but you have no other choice but to keep going forward to see where the road ahead leads," says Megan Flechaus, who wrote the song and is the front-person for the group. She continues, "I was inspired by a visual metaphor I saw while driving from Florida to North Carolina. There was a storm on one half of the sky and a bright blue clear day on the other. My road was winding and I wondered if I was headed toward the storm of the light." As with FlecHaus' previous singles, "Finding" was recorded at The Compound in Austin, recorded, produced and mixed by Benjamin Alan Levy, & mastered by Chris Kress.

FlecHaus are: Megan Flechaus, lead vocals/rhythm guitar; Kenzie Slottow, flute; Dominick Chaillot, bass; Nathan Smith, drums; and Sara Louise, backing vocals. On "Lie To Me," the band is joined by Benjamin Levy on fiddle, who substitutes for flutist Kenzie Slottow.

The band's second single "What We've Got" won two L.A. Music Critic Awards this past Summer: "Best Single-Group" and "Fan Favorite".
