Artists' Exchange offers fun, engaging and enriching summer camps in art, theater, rock n' roll and ceramics with options for ages 5-15. All camps are held on site at Artists' Exchange. None of our camps require previous experience. Check descriptions for age requirements, as they differ from camp to camp. Voted 2012 Best Summer Camps by Rhode Island Monthly. Artists' Exchange's 2014 Summer Camps will run June 23rd through August 22nd. Camps run from 9am to 3pm with before and after care available. Auditions

Artists' Exchange's 9th Annual One Act Play Festival. Saturday, May 10th from 11am-3pm, Sunday May 11th from 1pm-5pm, and Monday, May 12th from 6-9pm, or by additional appointment. Slots are 10 minutes per auditioner. Email Jessica Bradley, jessica.bradley@artists-exchange.org with your first and second slot preferences, indicating the dates and times. You will receive confirmation of your scheduled date/time prior to the audition. Actors must prepare a 1-minute monologue; slides will be available for cold readings. Moving Day is a powerful and heartfelt stage play, written and directed by playwright and producer, Robyn L. Rease. Moving Day is the dramatization of the lives of three women and their journey to total victory and wholeness - overcoming abandonment, sexual abuse, and drug addiction. Based on actual events, the play creates separate stages for the stories of Hyacinth 'Hycie' Milner, Carrie Dumas, and Arlaine Douglas - and the dynamic supporting characters that help them to make us laugh while bringing us to tears of healing and deliverance. Filled with worshipful music, compelling dialogue, infidelity, and murder, Moving Day pushes us to promise to ourselves to move on from the places our pain has left us and into the fullness of joy that God has provided. Dedicated to songwriters in Rhode Island, the festival will feature some of the area's best in an acoustic setting. Enjoy a weekend of music ranging from Americana to folk with hints of jazz and pop, featuring Kayla Farnham, G.W. Mercure, Tracie Potochnik, Ian Fitzgerald, Daphne Lee Martin, Haunt the House, Allysen Callery, Matt Borrello, Dan Blakeslee and Steve Allain. Music will start at 8pm both Friday and Saturday night. A ingenious tale of two of the modern theatre's greatest minds and largest egos - those of Orson Welles and Laurence Olivier. The time is 1960; the place is the Royal Court theatre. Legendary critic Kenneth Tynan has made a startling proposal: Welles should direct Olivier and the young Joan Plowright in 'Rhinoceros', Eugene Ionesco's absurdist masterpiece. They play serves as lifeline for both the great actor and the once genius director of Citizen Kane. The rehearsal process brims with absurdity as titanic personalities, along with Tynan, Plowright, and Vivien Leigh, wrestle the muse and their own crippling insecurities in this witty and incisive depiction of the drama of theatre.
