Musician Andrew W.K. has done something incredible. The rockstar has completed a marathon drumming session, drumming for 24 hours straight. He tweeted out this message after hitting the 24 hour mark: 'WE DID IT!!! 24 HOURS OF DRUMMING!!!...Remember... I didn't do it, WE did it. You were with me every beat. I feel very emotional and party.'

This performance was a part of the O Music Awards live stream and took place in Times Square. He began on Wednesday night to break the world record for longest drum lession and incredibly hit his mark at 24 hours straight. He said he came out of the experience with a hurt back an wrists which is not surprising considering he had to be in the same position for an entire day.

He was not alone in his endeavour though. Fellow drummers Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Questlove of the Roots stopped by and drummed along for a bit.

W.K. went on to say before the event began 'Some of these I would consider the greatest drummers in the world...People that I've admired for years and years.'
