Alice Tan Ridley, Bobby Caldwell and More Set for Centenary Stage's SUMMER JAMFEST, 7/12-8/9
Centenary Stage Company's (CSC) Summer Jamfest Series will keep Hackettstown buzzing with a diverse lineup of fun-for-the-whole-family events. Running July 12th through August 9th, audiences can reminisce with their favorite songs of yesterday and today at the Sitnik Theatre in the David and Carol Lackland Center with an array of talented musicians.
Kicking off the series is The New Gene Krupa Orchestra led by Michael Berkowitz on Saturday, July 12th at 8 pm. Leading the New Gene Krupa Orchestra, Michael Berkowitz brings the legendary Krupa magic back to life for a whole new generation. With an infectious energy that draws both listeners and dancers alike, this concert is a winner with audiences of all ages. Tickets for The New Gene Krupa Orchestra are $30 for Adults and $20 for youth under 18.
CSC celebrates the birth of a new Diva, Alice Tan Ridley on Saturday, July 19th at 8 pm. Ridley started singing in the subways of New York to help support her family and the dreams of her daughter Academy Award Nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe, star of the 2009 film Precious. Her legendary subway performances went viral and at the age of 58, Ridley took a leap of faith and auditioned for "Americas Got Talent" in 2011. Ridley's raw power and charm in her rendition of Etta James' "At Last" immediately resonated with both the judges and the audience, and she was sent to Hollywood to compete in the finals. She embodies a rare combination of raw power, charm, sensuality, spirituality and funk. Audiences can dust off their platform shoes for a night of disco favorites by Night Fever, the #1 tribute to the Bee Gees in the world on Saturday, July 26th at 8 pm. With an amazing look and fantastic vocals, a generation can re-live their favorite Bee Gees moments on stage, in concert. Night Fever will cover some of the greatest Bee Gees hits of all time such as, "To Love Somebody," "Night Fever," "More Than A Woman," "Jive Talking" and "Stayin' Alive," and many more. Tickets for Night Fever: A Night of the Bee Gees are $35 for Adults and $25 for youth under 18.
With the summer weather in full swing, audiences can enjoy Good Vibrations: A Celebration of the Beach Boys on Saturday, August 2 at 8 pm. There's only one show that re-creates the timeless California spirit and incredible music of The Beach Boys as it was meant to be experienced. Good Vibrations features a cast consisting of members from founding Beach Boys' Brian Wilson and Al Jardine's respective touring bands. This makes Good Vibrations the only Beach Boys show qualified to faithfully re-produce those legendary harmonies on hits like "Surfin' USA", "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "Kokomo", and "Barbara Ann". Tickets for Good Vibrations: A Celebration of the Beach Boys are $35 for Adults and $25 for youth under 18.

Tickets for Bobby Caldwell and his Big Band are $35 for Adults and $25 for youth under 18.
With a reputation for being one of the best deals in the state, the Summer Jamfest is available to purchase as a Flex Pass to all five events for $135.00 per person or choose three events for $90.00.
