ANDY GRAMMER to Perform on 'Good Morning America'; Kicks Off Summer Tour 6/10

ANDY GRAMMER's new single "Back Home"--released April 8 on S-Curve Records--is off to an explosive start. The song sold over 14,000 copies in its first week, reached #8 on Spotify's Viral 50 chart, and received early radio support with major market airplay in Los Angeles, Boston, Orlando, St. Louis and more, weeks before its official impact date. And now, ANDY has announced that his first national TV performance of "Back Home" will take place Thursday, June 26 on the #1 rated morning show in the country, ABC's "Good Morning America." This appearance also marks his debut on "GMA."

"The response from 'Back Home' has been incredible," says ANDY. "Really happy to see that everyone's loving the song as much as I do. Can't wait to hit the road and share a few more new ones."

ANDY will kick off his national headlining summer tour June 10 in Phoenix, AZ. He is bringing along support acts Andrew Ripp andBrendan James, with special guest Kate Voegele opening up the first three dates along with James. On Monday, June 16 ANDY will take a day off from the tour to make his debut at the legendary Hollywood Bowl alongside Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato and Colbie Caillat as part of Los Angeles radio station 104.3 MYFM's "My Big Night Out." Tickets for this show are on sale now here. ANDY will then continue his headlining run with shows in Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando and Boston, before hitting New York City on June 26 to perform that morning on "Good Morning America" with a full show at Irving Plaza later that night. The summer tour will also stop off in Philadelphia,Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle and Portland before wrapping July 17 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA. The full itinerary is below and ticket info will be found at

"Back Home" is the acclaimed platinum-selling singer, songwriter, musician's first new music since his 2011 self-titled debut albumwhich featured the massive hits "Keep Your Head Up," "Fine By Me," and "Miss Me." It also marks the first single from ANDY'sforthcoming follow-up album due out this fall on S-Curve Records. The response from both fans and media has been raved, "It seems like the years haven't changed Andy's knack for writing spirited pop anthems. 'Back Home' has the same infectious feel as his former chart-topping singles, and the same positive, invincible attitude. The lyrics are perfect for a fun summer track: 'Here's to nights that you can't take back / We live hard but we love to laugh.' And we dare you to try not to sing along to the chorus - it is too catchy not to." (5/9/14). Elsewhere, noted, "Andy Grammer gives enlightened meaning to arena-sized pop with his brand spanking new single 'Back Home.' Filtered through the indie-folk lens...he always stays true to who he is," while OK! Magazine wrote, "...we promise he'll be a household name after radio gets a hold of this song" (4/1/14) and proclaimed, "'Back Home' is set to be one of the summer's biggest anthems." (4/23/14)

The reaction at radio has been equally as exciting. "Back Home" officially impacted Hot AC radio this past Monday, May 12 but the song has been earning early support nationally for several weeks. Early supporters have included SiriusXM's The Pulse, KBIG in Los Angeles, WBMX in Boston, KFMB in San Diego, KIMN in Denver, KYKY in St. Louis, and many more. "Back Home" has debuted on the Billboard/BDS chart and is currently #40.

Additionally, ANDY was awarded this week at the 62nd Annual BMI Pop Awards which took place Tuesday, May 13 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. His hit song "Fine By Me," off his last album, was recognized as one of the past year's most-performed pop songs in the United States from BMI's repertoire of more than 8.5 million musical works. Others in attendance included Stevie Nicks who received the BMI Icon Award, Adam Levine, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Lumineers, Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum, Jason Derulo, Shakira and many more.
