Blake Proehl to Release Debut EP HEART'S DON'T BREAK
The Nashville artist will join Russell Dickerson, Jordan Davis, Niko Moon and Jake Owen on select tour dates.
Rising artist Blake Proehl has announced his debut EP, Heart's Don't Break, arriving October 2 via MCA. The six-track project marks a defining moment for Proehl, bringing together the infectious melodies, heartfelt storytelling and pop-country sound he has been steadily introducing throughout his breakout year.
Giving fans another taste of what's to come, Proehl also shared his new song 'If He Ain't Up' today. Driven by his smooth vocals and an undeniable hook, the track puts his natural charisma front and center while offering another glimpse into the sound and energy of his forthcoming debut project.
'I'm really excited to finally announce my first EP,' says Proehl. 'Making this project has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and each song represents a different part of my story and who I am as an artist today. 'If He Ain't Up' is one I've been looking forward to sharing for a while, and I can't wait for everyone to hear the rest of the project.'
With Heart's Don't Break, Proehl delivers his most complete musical statement yet. Across six tracks, he moves effortlessly between high-energy, feel-good moments and more vulnerable territory, drawing inspiration from relationships, personal experiences and the unexpected path that ultimately led him to music.

Since signing with MCA earlier this year, Proehl has quickly built momentum as he steps fully into his next chapter, already amassing more than 21M global streams. His growing catalog blends elements of country, pop and R&B, pairing undeniable hooks with personal storytelling as he continues to carve out a sound distinctly his own.
Proehl's path to music has been anything but conventional. After spending years working toward his dream of playing professional football and ultimately joining the Minnesota Vikings, a devastating injury during his rookie season changed the trajectory of his life. Music first became an outlet during his recovery before quickly growing into a new calling. Now, Proehl brings the same determination and work ethic that once fueled his football career to the stage, continuing to establish himself as one of Nashville's most exciting emerging artists.
This fall, Proehl will bring music from Heart's Don't Break to fans on the road as he joins Russell Dickerson, Jordan Davis, Niko Moon, and Jake Owen for select dates across the country.

About Blake Proehl
Blake Proehl gives it his all, whether he's on the field or on the stage.
Proehl isn't your everyday singer-songwriter — he worked his whole life to achieve his dream of making it to the NFL, ultimately joining the Minnesota Vikings as a wide receiver. After a devastating injury during his rookie season, his path shifted in an unexpected direction. During the recovery process and newfound downtime, he fell in love with music. What began as an outlet quickly became a calling, and Proehl made the decision to pursue music full-time, trading the football field for the stage.
His musical journey began with his family, and a video of him sharing his singing voice with his grandmother for the first time unexpectedly went viral on TikTok, surprising even Proehl himself. The tens of millions of views and American Idol appearances say it all — people are ready to hear more from Blake. His pop and R&B sound has the natural likability of predecessors like Justin Bieber, and Proehl's humility and gentle spirit make it hard not to want to root for him.
As an artist expanding his skill set with the piano, guitar, and co-writing sessions, Proehl isn't afraid of entering new territory. His smooth vocals are just the beginning — he is constantly gaining artistic inspiration from his interpersonal relationships as well as his own journey to physical recovery.
With each song and piece of content that Proehl creates, he hopes his music can act as a way to help people express themselves and avoid putting on any fronts.
