Paramount Releases 'Grease Sing-Along' to Select Theatres, 7/8

Paramount Pictures will release 'Grease Sing-Along,' the sing-along version of the hit movie musical, to select theatres on July 8.  These will include theatres in Ocala, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, Seattle, Miami, San Diego, Austin, and Atlanta.  The film will also be shown at the Hollywood Bowl, where it will debut on June 25, as previously reported on BroadwayWorld. 

Directed by Randal Kleiser and based on Jim Jacobs' and WarRen Casey's musical of the same name, 'Grease' was released in 1978 by Paramount Pictures to tremendous critical and popular acclaim. The film was nominated for five Golden Globes and an Academy Award, and was the winner of the People's Choice Award for Best Musical. Grease stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing and Jeff Conaway.
