New Patents Issued for Charcoal Companion Brand of Grilling Accessories

The Companion Group, a leading manufacturer of barbecue tools, pizza accessories, and other products for cooking outdoors, announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office recently issued two new patents for the Charcoal Companion brand of grilling accessories.

The Moistly Grilled Smoking Platform (CC3508) was issued US Patent D679, 133. Food cooks on a platform, directly over wood chips for more concentrated flavor, achieving the smokiness of a charcoal grill on a conventional gas grill. The product also features a reservoir for liquids that creates a humid grilling environment, resulting in juicier meats and poultry.

The LED Grill Light with Silicone Cover (CC5121) was issued US Patent D684, 284. This weather-resistant light features five powerful LED bulbs that provide a wide field of light across the grill grate. It attaches to the grill lid handle for direct lighting.

Both products are available from specialty kitchen retailers throughout the US and online. The Companion Group now holds more than 60 US patents and continues its commitment to innovative designs for an ever-changing marketplace.
