Ready for Oktoberfest? Well, it's here!

Today, Gold Star Chili is bringing back the Oktoberfest Cheese Coney.

It's a Zinzinnati favorite. A freshly steamed bun. A bratwurst at it's brat-best. A touch of spicy brown mustard. A ladle of our famous Gold Star Chili. A pinch of sauerkraut, and a pile of deliciously soft shredded cheddar cheese.

The Oktoberfest Cheese Coney brings together some of the finest local ingredients. The bratwurst is from Blue Grass Quality Meats, the bun is baked at the Klosterman Baking Company and the Gold Star Chili is made fresh every day in the Gold Star kitchen.

"It's the best WURST Coney ever," said Food Blogger Heather Johnson of the Cincinnati Food Hussey blog. "Cheese, Chili, Bratwurst every bite is perfection."

The Oktoberfest Cheese Coney will be available in Gold Star restaurants in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington, Somerset and Ashland through 1 October.

To celebrate the launch, Gold Star Chili has also produced its first ever German language advertisement. The advertisement will run on local TV stations throughout the offer period. It can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwdplroC7f0.
