By:
Music Hall celebrates the ingenuity of choreography with the study of the creative back and forth between Detroit and other dance capitals around the country with its 3rd annual "Choreography Expo" featuring the best of Detroit and Los Angeles area dance companies including LA's edgy, Body Traffic tonight, April 2nd, 8:00 PM.

The profound influence that Detroit dance has on the Chicago scene was revealed last year and this year Music Hall will be the venue of collaborations from Los Angeles. The evening features new Detroit choreographers and innovative companies from LA, such as Body Traffic and ArtLabJ here in Detroit.

First we took New York (313 To The 212) and then Chicago (313 To The 312) and now we connect with Los Angeles in what be our best Expo yet! Detroit nurtures and contributes a major amount of dance talent and has a profound influence on the New York, Chicago and now Los Angeles dance scene! Scan the roster of any LA-based dance company or Broadway show, and you will turn up a Detroit dancer and/or choreographer.

(313) to the (213) is a choreographic showcase that celebrates and highlights this profound contribution of both cities to create a synergy that bridges the two distinct cities
