Community Works Announces Wendy Liebman VIP Reception, 5/16

Community Works is offering limited tickets for a very special VIP Reception with comedian Wendy Liebman (@wendyliebman) and friends and will also be holding a live auction of autographed celebrity items during the comedy benefit SHARE A LAUGH on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Somerville Theatre. Limited tickets are available for the VIP Reception andare on sale online for $75, of which 75% of the proceeds will go directly to the Community Works member organization that is designated upon purchase. Audience members are asked to come prepared to partake in a live auction during the comedy benefit which will include signed books from Ray Romano and Bill Maher, DVD's of Jimmy Tingle, and much, much more.

Community Works presents SHARE A LAUGH, its 6th Annual Fundraiser to support its 32 member organizations working for social justice, with comedians Wendy Liebman (@wendyliebman), John Fugelsang (@johnfugelsang), Jimmy Tingle (@jimmytingle), Chris Tabb (@christabbshow), Kelly MacFarland (@kellymacfarland), and Bethany Van Delft (@bethanyvandelft) on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 7:30pm at the Somerville Theatre (55 Davis Square, Somerville, MA).

Proceeds from SHARE A LAUGH will benefit Community Works who for the past 30 years have supported 32 member organizations through networking, training, technical assistance, and pooled resources. The funds strengthen not just one organization, but an entire community of social justice organizations working for affordable housing, quality healthcare and civil rights.
