Fortune Feimster Comes to Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square

Fortune Feimster, the Southern comic who hails from North Carolina, is one of the busiest actors, stand-up comedians, and writers working today. Variety named her one of their "Top 10 Comics to Watch" in 2014 and she's been reaching new milestones ever since. Fortune, who first rose to fame as a performer and writer on Chelsea Lately, can currently be seen as a series regular on The Mindy Project where she plays the very loveable nurse Colette.

It's been a quick rise for Fortune who made her TV debut in 2010 on NBC's Last Comic Standing where she finishEd Strong as a semi-finalist. She has since had recurring guest roles on Life In Pieces and Mulaney. Fortune has appeared on Glee, Two Broke Girls, Drunk History, and Married. She's also a regular guest on Chelsea Handler's Netflix show, Chelsea.

As far as the big screen, Fortune has got very memorable parts in Office Christmas Party and the soon-to-be released movies Deported and F*cking People. After being cast in the Tina Fey pilot Cabot College for Fox, Fortune went on to team up with Fey to create her own starring vehicle called Family Fortune, which was given a pilot order at ABC. She's had a half hour special on Comedy Central and has performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Conan.
