Tonya Burke has been in the human services field for about 30 years. She has worked with children in childcare settings including her own home childcare for many years. She is married with 4 children and lives in Omaha, Nebraska. She comes from a large family; she is 1 of 10 children. Children are the main source of inspiration for her writings, leading to her completing her new book "Children's Seasons of Delight": a tantalizing portrayal of the exciting activities and treats to do along with the changing of the seasons.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Tonya Burke's children's story will inspire and please young readers as they imagine the fun of great outdoors.

"Children's Seasons of Delight" is a whimsical take on an EE Cumming's poem, "In Just". It is a rendition of the author's love of children and her love of the brilliant Midwestern seasons. It is a collection of bits and pieces of her own childhood memories to share in an imaginative splay of "remember when". Readers of "Children's Seasons of Delight" are encouraged to take advantage of the changing seasons by engaging in motor play and social interactions mingled with laughter, fun, and unabated creativity. An incredible amount of fun awaits children in the out-of-doors and "Children's Seasons of Delight" portrays children's life with minimal inhibitions.

Readers who wish to experience this enjoyable work can purchase"Children's Seasons of Delight" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
