Jimmy hasn't had an easy life since his mom died when he was a young boy, but things start looking up with his best friend becomes his girlfriend. She gets pregnant while the two are in high school, and 17-year-old Jimmy agrees to do the right thing and support her. The new book "Ultimate Sacrifice," released by Dog Ear Publishing, follows his story.

Dropping out of high school and getting his GED isn't easy, but that's a picnic compared to Army boot camp and serving in a combat zone in Iraq. Sheer courage and quick thinking lead to heroic actions but eventually he's taken prisoner. Jimmy makes it home and eventually finds a job at a bank, but when that doesn't work out, he turns to a war-time buddy, now a police officer, working on a murder case.

Bills must be paid, and Jimmy frames himself so Stacy can receive the reward money. His rollercoaster ride isn't over as he endures time in prison and faces execution for the crime he has chosen to make his own. But danger lurks when someone finds out about Jimmy's false confession, and suddenly everything he has planned is put in jeopardy.
