High speed and a lot of guts, that's how Michael Grace de'Udy remembers his years at the Goodwood Motor Racing Track. In his new memoir, "Living in the Fast Lane: Goodwood - memories and back ..." (published by AuthorHouse), the retired motor racing champion relives the fondest memories of his beloved sport.

Over the course of his 10-year racing career, de'Udy logged over 80 races and received over 20 wins and additional class wins. In "Living in the Fast Lane," de'Udy takes a look back at his achievements, his challenges and the unique world of motor racing in the 1960s. He is particularly vocal about the safety issues that made motor racing precarious five decades ago.

"I can say a lot has changed on the tracks, making it safer for race car drivers these days," notes de'Udy. "It wasn't as safe on the tracks in the 1960s when race car drivers got killed practically every week. I wanted to write about my experiences as a participant racing driver of that era."
