Dealing With The Devil follows the death-defying exploits of Jack Broderick, the CIA station Chief in Peru, who earns his keep by impeding the drug influences mentioned above. He does an amazing job by enlisting a hard boiled agent, Brian Koltai, from the United States. Together, they will attempt to prevent another costly war from occurring in the Andes like the one that had taken place 20 years earlier. About the Author

L. Hurley Ankeny, a Portland, Oregon resident, was in the Covert section of the army's 10th Special Forces Group in the 1950s. That section later became part of the CIA in the 1960s. Bobby Kennedy, representing the Kennedy administration, accomplished this transition in the early '60s. Ankeny graduated from UCLA majoring in Geography. He has travelled extensively in South America.
