'Biblical Lessons' by Robert Ridings is Released

The hardest part about making a big change in your life is knowing where to start. But as Chinese philosopher Lao-Tzu stated, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

"Biblical Lessons," by Robert Ridings is a guide to a deeper understanding of God's plan and leading a more fulfilling life, based on the Bible-focused men's small group classes the author manages in local prisons, nursing homes and senior homes.

Ridings' new book draws influence from the 12-step Recovery in Christ program the author attends, as well as his unique background and expertise in lay counseling.

"The world is full of people suffering from anxiety, worry, anger, or unforgiveness," Ridings says. "God wants his people to live with peace and joy by trusting Him."

"Biblical Lessons" consists of 52 topics, which are discussed using Scriptures, comments, and questions based on the Word of God.

Ridings' insights about living for eternity, trusting God's perfect love, living in the family of God, getting closer to God and living with Godly wisdom speaks provides readers with the framework to consider their own paths in life.

Robert Ridings holds diplomas in addiction counseling and Biblical counseling, and he is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He and his wife currently reside in Frederick, Md., where he leads weekly Bible classes in local prisons, for the Frederick Rescue Mission and at local senior citizens centers. "Biblical Lessons" is his first book.
