Bert H. Carlson Pens 'The Perilous African Adventures of Sir Bert and Sir Gilbert'

In his new book "The Perilous African Adventures of Sir Bert and Sir Gilbert" (published by Trafford Publishing) author Bert H. Carlson shares with readers a collection of humorous adventures about two bumbling explorers.

Sir Gilbert and Sir Bert are two adventurers working with London's Royal Society who write letters chronicling their zany travels through Africa and their run-ins with fictional creatures.

"We built a fire with difficulty because the wood was quiet wet. Sir Gilbert, who insisted on making the fire, filled the cave with so much smoke, a hacking, coughing, coal-black panther whipped by us with such speed, I thought it would turn white! We were so astonished! I kept my cool, but Sir Gilbert began throwing smoky pieces of wood after the panther that had to have been in another country by that time, he had run with such speed."
