In "Realities" (published by AuthorHouse), Annie V. Prewitt's 2012 novel which is getting a revived marketing push, readers are treated to two delightfully homespun stories about two women finding their way in life and learning to weigh the good against the bad.

"Realities" is separated into two stories. In the first, readers meet Minnie Miles and her childhood best friend Nellie. These inseparable young girls grow up together in rural Mississippi, remaining close into adulthood. Throughout their relationship, they rely on each other's counsel for help through life's difficulties and struggles.

The second story draws readers into a beautiful love affair between protagonist Destine Divine Smith and Anthony Mason. Destine, a small town girl, takes a new position working in Anthony's upscale photography studio. As feelings between Destine and Anthony grow, issues crop up here and there, and Destine is forced to decide what she really wants to do.

An excerpt from "Realities":

"Anthony you are the true 'essence' of me because what I feel for you cuts deeper than happy and means so much more than just love 'remember'. Anthony words themselves would never be able to explain the feelings that happy and love carries because only whenever you're near they sprout from the root and take form. That's when I truly know that they are and just is. 'Anthony my love for you is the sum of all that is real, absolute and unchangeable'."

Prewitt set out to create a fun experience for readers when she started writing "Realities." She says, "I want each reader to feel the happiness and the sadness from each story and I hope there is much laughter through the pages."
