Jackie is an addict—an addict in recovery with good intentions, revved-up hormones, and newfound freedom after serving time for his drug dealing past. But recovery takes more than good intentions, especially when the love of your life is a passionate, explosive addict-alcoholic, and your sponsor is a smooth talker with a Machiavellian worldview. When Jackie suspects his girlfriend of cheating, his hotheaded hormones put that freedom in jeopardy as he struggles with sobriety and self-destruction in this amped-up ride that is both hilariously profane and intriguingly profound.
