The spirit of Ireland’s most notorious playwright Brendan Behan – humorist, songster, rabble-rouser, storyteller supreme, rebel and all-round entertainer – is brilliantly captured in this highly original and outrageously funny play by Jim Sheridan (Director/Co-Screenwriter, Oscar nominated film, “My Left Foot,” and others). Peter Sheridan, noted playwright, director and filmmaker in his own right, brother of Jim Sheridan and friend of the Behan family, comes from Dublin to direct.
