Special Talk-Back Performance Announced for BEN BUTLER
The Kavinoky Theatre Proudly Presents: A Special Talk-Back Performance/Reception with Playwright Richard Strand Friday, March 16th at 7:30 pm
The Kavinoky Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of D'Youville College, continues its 38th season with its production of Ben Butler by Richard Strand.
Playwright Richard Strand will be attending the Friday March 16th performance of his critically acclaimed play and will take questions from the audience after the show. Following the talk-back, the audience is invited to attend a complimentary wine and cheese reception with the Playwright and actors.
Closing on March 25th, Ben Butler is a historical Drama/Comedy about an escaped slave demanding sanctuary. General Benjamin Butler is faced with an impossible moral dilemma-follow the letter of the law or make a game-changing move that could alter the course of U.S. history?
Director Robert Waterhouse has assembled a cast of some of Buffalo's finest actors, including John Fredo as Ben Butler, Christopher Evans as Lieutenant Kelly, Tom Loughlin as Major Cary, and Atlanta based actor Patrick Coleman as Shepard Mallory.
