RTLP to Open New Year with FREUD'S LAST SESSION

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) welcomes in the New Year with the Western New York premiere of Freud's Last Session by Mark St. Germain. Freud's Last Session will open Friday January 22nd and run through Sunday February 14th at the Road Less Traveled Theater.

RLTP's production will star David Oliver as Dr. Sigmund Freud and Matt Witten as C.S. Lewis under the direction of Katie Mallinson. Production team includes Virginia Leary (stage management), Dyan Burlingame (set), John Rickus (light), Katie Menke (sound), Eileen Behan Hargrave (props), and Maura Simmonds-Price (costume).

Synopsis: What if legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Freud and beloved writer C.S. Lewis met one evening for a chat? Intellectual sparks fly in this imaginative musing of just such an occasion, when the aging atheist and the devout scholar convene in London on the day England enters World War II. Witty and riveting, their provocative debate calls into question everything from war to religion, from sex to God, from punctuality to the power of music.

Regular performance times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 general admission and $20 for students. Student tickets are available at the Box Office 30 minutes prior to a scheduled performance. Student tickets for Thursday performances are only $5 (with ID). Groups of 10 or more may apply for group discounts.
