O'Connell & Company's ORDINARY DAYS Opens 1/21
O'Connell & Company, the professional theatre in residence at The Park School of Buffalo, presents The Western New York Premiere of ORDINARY DAYS, Music and Lyrics by Adam Gwon, opening on JANUARY 21, 2016 and running through FEBRUARY 21, 2016.
From one of musical theatre's most exciting new composers comes ORDINARY DAYS, a refreshingly honest and funny musical brimming with vibrant and memorable songs about making real connections in the city that never sleeps (but probably should at some point.) It tells the story of four young New Yorkers whose lives intersect as they search for fulfillment, happiness, love and cabs. ORDINARY DAYS is an original musical for anyone who's ever struggled to appreciate the simple things in a complex place. With equal doses of humor and poignancy, it celebrates how 8.3 million individual stories combine in unexpected ways to make New York City such a unique and extraordinary home. ORDINARY DAYS is directed by VICTORIA PEREZ with Musical Direction/Accompaniment by JAMES WELCH and stars REED BENTLEY, EDITH GROSSMAN, ADAM HAYES & JENNEL PRUNEDA.
The creative team includes: KRIS BOOKHAGEN (Stage Manager), EMMA SCHIMMINGER (Lighting Design), JOHN KEHOE (Set), ADAM M. WALL (Costumer), JOSEPH SCINTA(Sound Tech), KATY MINER (Website/Logo Design) and EMILY PICI (Properties). ORDINARY DAYS is onstage at O'Connell & Company in residence at The Park School, 4625 Harlem Road, Snyder, NY 14226 (Theatre entrance is in the Helen Long building), JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 21, 2016. Show times are: Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are: $25 with discounts available to seniors, students, military, groups, industry and The Park School community.
