Award-winning actor, singer and dancer Jon Peterson (best known for his role as the Emcee in CABARET on Broadway) created and stars in a joyous tribute to Anthony Newley, the British actor, singer, songwriter, director who created songs like "Goldfinger," "What Kind of Fool Am I?," "Who Can I Turn To?," "Gonna Build A Mountain," and "The Candy Man." His turbulent life, his many loves, the highs, the lows, the desperation of a man innately wise to the charade that is show business - a man possessed with too many talents. Written and performed by Jon Peterson, veteran of many Broadway and West End shows, HE WROTE GOOD SONGS includes twenty of Newley's incredible songs, driving home this tale of a man inspired, a show business legend. Performances take place at 3450 Winton Place, Brighton-Henrietta. Convenient free parking, handicapped accessible.
