The All Star Sluggers to Bring 18 Innings Of Sketch Comedy To The Vino Theater
Performances will take place July 23 and July 24 at 8:00 PM.
The All Star Sluggers, part fictional baseball team, part sketch comedy troupe, will take the stage at The Vino Theater in East Williamsburg for two nights only: July 23 and July 24 at 8:00 PM.
The All Star Sluggers invites the audience to be part of the action: fans in the audience will select the sketches from 20 options, creating a unique lineup each night. Expect nine innings of side-splitting comedy, unpredictable moments, and a fresh, fun atmosphere that guarantees no two shows are the same.
The troupe was formed by Tommy Crosson, a Brooklyn-based actor and songwriter originally from Raleigh, NC. A 2020 BFA Acting graduate from UNC-Greensboro with a minor in Musical Theatre, Tommy's creative work (often in collaboration with fellow castmates) has included co-founding the improv troupes Spartaneous and Raleigh Improv Group. He's currently recording original music and co-writing a new musical. Follow him at @tommycrosson on Instagram for updates.
The All Star Sluggers is produced by Randall Simmons, Artistic Director of Daisy Theatricals. As a director and producer dedicated to new play development, Randall focuses on uplifting emerging playwrights and artists across New York City.
The lineup of performers includes (in alphabetical order): Zach Abbruscato, Olivia Alicandri, Jeremy Appel, Tommy Crosson, Ian House, Arthur Larin, Daniel Murphy, Kathleen Ormond, and Madeline Saintsing.
