This glamorous cocktail party, performance, and silent auction will benefit Stable Cable Lab Co.'s 2016/2017 Season, including the world premiere of Lindsay Joy's In the Event of My Death, directed by Padraic Lillis, to be performed at IRT Theater on August 6-21, 2016. The cast will feature Stable Cable ensemble members Lisa Jill Anderson, Lillith Fallon, Breanna Foister, Cory Kosel, Ian Poake, John Racioppo, Samantha Strelitz, and Kara Young. Scenic design by Doss Freel, lighting design by Katy Atwell, sound design by Andy Evan Cohen, and other creative team members to be announced.

In the Event of My Death is about eight small-town twenty-somethings (who know each other from high school) who share an impromptu time of mourning and celebration after the suicide of a mutual friend. This play was originally developed through The Farm Theater's College Collaboration program, under the artistic direction of Padraic Lillis.

This year's silent auction items will include yoga, Alexander Technique, tennis and acting sessions; tickets and memberships to Off-Broadway theaters; paintings inspired by In the Event of My Death commissioned from Lilli Stein; beautiful and unique jewelry from NYc Gent Jewelry; a session with Nuanse Entertainment Photography Studio; and more! Gala ticket-holders will have the opportunity to win free tickets to In the Event of My Death, and a four-week acting class session taught by Max Baker (playwright and director of Live From the Surface of the Moon and Because Me, actor in Jerusalem and Cyrano de Bergerac on Broadway, and The Coen Brother's Hail, Caesar!). Stable Cable classes taught by Max Baker run for four-week session and are $250. Registration is now open. For more details visit http://www.stablecablelabco.org/#!classes/gntco.
